Account Manager

Our digital health platform allows patients to find nearby healthcare providers, book appointments online, see wait times from the comfort of their homes, and avoid long waits with our virtual waiting room. Healthcare providers also benefit from our platform, because we help them deliver care more efficiently. We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team. We are looking for an outgoing individual with experience in sales, customer service, and marketing, who thrives in a startup environment.

Job Description

  • Engage potential and existing health service provider clients
  • Handle both inbound and outbound sales and client support interactions
  • Create sales presentations, training materials and case studies
  • Manage existing client accounts and partnerships and ensure they receive the highest level of service
  • Maintain a higher level of client service for iamsick health service providers and general users of iamsick services
  • Contribute to the development of strategic marketing plans
  • Maintain an organized system of leads and responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with small, medium, and large companies
  • Uncover needs of health providers and users so we can develop amazing products that will improve access and integration of health services for all Canadians

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales, marketing, or client support experience
  • Experience in healthcare and/or healthcare IT would be an asset
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • Experience in strategic sales and marketing planning
  • Experience in social media engagement
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple demands at once
  • Enjoy interacting with new people on a daily basis
  • Works well with others in a team environment
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to change
  • Willingness to learn new things and explore new ideas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, or other graphic design software

Lead Web Developer

Are you an experienced web developer, looking for a fast-paced environment where you can take real ownership over your work?

As a technical lead, you will be working closely with developers, as well as the CEO and our healthcare experts.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in both front-end and back-end web development
  • Project managment skills with an understanding of the big picture as well as the technical nuances
  • Good management and mentorship skills, experience leading a team of developers to deliver good quality product on time, on budget.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Common patterns and best practices in web development
    • MVC architecture (with an ORM!)
    • Object oriented programming (and polymorphism)
    • Cross-browser and cross-device design and testing
    • Version control systems (git preferred)
    • Agile development (we're not fanatics, but we constantly adapt and iterate)
  • Building interactive web applications
  • Designing efficient data models, and basic database administration
  • Defining and consuming APIs
  • Networking and web security
  • B.Sc./B.A.Sc./B.Eng. in computer science, computer engineering or related field

Senior Mobile Developer

Our website and mobile apps allow users to find their nearest healthcare provider, with language filters and open/close times. Recently, we launched an e-booking and “virtual waiting room” platform, allowing patients to book and manage appointments online, and see wait-times from the comfort of their homes.

As the senior mobile developer, you will be working closely with our lead developer and clients to bring these new features to our mobile apps.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Android development and strong familiarity with Android development best practices
  • 1+ years of iOS development and strong familiarity with iOS development best practices
  • 2+ years leading mobile app projects
  • Familiarity with Git and shell scripting
  • Strong appreciation of UI/UX concepts
  • An obsession about testing your apps thoroughly before launch
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies as required
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly
  • Passionate about working on impactful projects
  • B.Sc./B.A.Sc./B.Eng. in computer science, computer engineering or related field
